All of the fishings listed below are operated by Newton Stewart Angling Association with the exception of High Cree.
A 6-Day permit (no Sunday fishing) incl. levy, for the River Cree is available at a cost of £100.00.
Saturday fishing is now available to visitors on the association stretch of the River Cree.
A 7-Day permit is available for the association lochs only at a cost of £95.00.
A 7-Day permit is available for the River Cree incl. levy (no Sunday fishing), and association lochs at a cost of £110.00.
Annual Membership to the association costs £115 for adults (aged 18 - 65 years) and £70 for OAP's (60+ & 65+ years / qualifying time is 5 years), but is restricted to people permanently living within the local area. Junior membership costs £15 (aged 5 - 11 years) and Juvenile membership costs £32 (aged 12 - 17 years). Associate Membership to the association costs £180 per annum for adults and £90 for Juvenile (age brackets as above) and is open to anyone. However, please note that the number of associate memberships available are limited to 50 only. It is an ideal solution for those who visit association waters regularly, but because of the location of their residence do not qualify for normal membership. Once again, further information should be obtained from the associations secretary, whose details can be found in my 'Contacts' section.
Insurance For Members
Members of the association aged 16 years and over are automatically covered by insurance at no additional cost. The policy in force provides for Personal Liability cover to £100,000 and Public Liability cover to £5,000,000.

All permits prices correct for Season 2006 and can be obtained from any of the permit dealers named in the Contacts section.
The association is pleased to announce that day permits for all club waters (excluding Loch Dee & boat hire on Loch Ochiltree) are available from the Galloway Arms Hotel at times when Galloway Guns & Tackle shop is closed. Permits for Loch Dee and boat hire on Loch Ochiltree will continue to be available as normal from Galloway Guns & Tackle.
