Fishing consists of West Bank from Mattie White Bridge to Auchenleck Bridge.

The Penkiln Burn is a tributary of the River Cree and meets the river at the Brewery Pool.

The Penkiln is a spate burn and most fish are caught on the worm. Certainly worth a cast or two!

A days fishing on the Penkiln Burn costs £20.00 although weekly tickets may be had.
