A fine brace of stunning wild brown trout taken by Mark McKie at Loch Dee. Both fish weighed in at just under 2lbs each.
A lovely 10lb 8oz salmon caught on the River Cree in May 2005 by Jimmy Bell from Minnigaff.
This newspaper cutting was taken from the Galloway Gazette Newspaper and shows some local anglers posing with a magnificent salmon of 40lbs taken from the River Cree in 1907. If anyone has any more information about this picture or recognises anyone in the picture, we would be pleased to know of the details.

A fine example of the excellent seatrout which the River Cree has produced in recent years. Large seatrout are still being caught in good numbers. This beauty of a cock fish weighed in at 7lb 2oz and once again was taken from the Ghyll Pool in 1998.
